About us

The Product Marketing Co-ordinator role supports the Skinbrands business by researching the beauty market to advise & recommend new brand acquisition & mange new brand & product launches for existing brands to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

 

Experience required

  • At least 3 years proven experience within Product Marketing, Brand Management or a similar role in the beauty industry
  • You’ll come from a product marketing background as opposed to a generalist marketing background
  • Technical/Marketing qualifications would be beneficial
  • Demonstrate success in defining & launching successful products
  • Experience in market analysis
  • Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Background in design & copywriting is a plus

  • Previous knowledge of Sage desirable

Responsibilities

New Product Development

 

·       Define the product strategy & roadmap for suitable brand/product categories by analysing the market landscape, collating sales & training teams’ feedback, brand architecture and commercial ambition to align to SKinbrands strategic approach

·       Drive competitive insights and trends by analysing beauty trends & other NPD data within the beauty market to determine needs & opportunities for new brands & products extensions within Skinbrands current brand/product portfolio.

 

·       Development of the UK Marketing Calendar, contributing market analysis insights and collating considerations from stakeholders to inform decision making

·       Conduct both desk & field based market research within the UK & Overseas

·       Deliver product brief with market and commercial justification

 

Pricing

 

·       Review & develop pricing policies throughout the product lifecycle

·       Conduct competitor analysis & be up to date with competitor action

·       Work with the brand owners to build pricing proposals for new launches

 

Product Launches & maintenance

·       Communicating & co-ordinating all new brand & product launch/discontinuation information from brands to the marketing, sales, training & operations teams

·       Define & maintain the product launch calendar

·       Work closely with the digital marketing team on the launch & marketing calendar

·       Assisting with marketing sales activity by brand as required by the marketing & sales team

·       Work with PR company to communicate any brand & product updates

·       Organising new brand launch meetings internal stakeholders

·       Exploring branded promotional items to support new brand launches

·       Monitoring spends with suppliers & communicating any essential supplier information to the PM&MM

£25,000 - £28,000 dependant on experience.
